Start with coverage, not a package name

Compare how many hours and event spaces are covered. On-site ceremony audio, cocktail-hour music and a reception can require separate equipment or additional setup time even when they happen at the same property.

DJ-only and DJ-plus-MC are different staffing models

A dedicated MC can focus on introductions, announcements, formalities and room communication while the DJ remains focused on music. For larger or more detailed receptions, that additional role can materially change the service.

Production changes the total

Intelligent dance-floor lighting, uplighting, photo experiences, monograms, cold sparks and low-lying fog are separate production elements. Ask for an itemized proposal so you understand what is entertainment staffing and what is an enhancement.

Venue logistics matter

Parking, difficult load-ins, multiple floors, separate ceremony spaces and unusually large rooms can affect labor and equipment requirements. A quote should reflect the actual event rather than hiding those needs until later.

Compare value on the same scope

Before comparing two prices, make sure the proposals cover the same hours, personnel, rooms, equipment and planning. The lowest number can be misleading when one proposal leaves out services the other includes.

Get a quote built around your event

For current pricing, the most accurate approach is to share the date, venue, guest count, event times and whether ceremony or cocktail hour are on site. We’ll put together a proposal for the coverage and options you need.
